Craddock Swamp Challenge

Type: Endurance/Marathon

 

New to VAMTBS and the Virginia Mountain Bike Scene, Jeff and Glenda Craddock have opportunity their property in tidewater region of the state to host a __ hour endurance race

 

The venue

XC Course approximatly 6 miles of wooded low lying terrain with ditches and pond berms. You will pass through a beaver swamp area with beaver trees eaten away. The course also includes some fast downhill areas and a portion of a cross race course. There are a few jumps and technical area with open fields to boot.

 

Details:

Event held under USAC permit. USAC rules apply. All Riders must have a USAC license. USAC one-day license can be purchased at the event. The Race Director and Race Officials reserve the right to cancel and/or modify segments of the event as deemed necessary for safety. There is no rain date for this event. Severe weather may cancel race.

Directions:

From Tidewater I 64E to 58 West, past Franklin, Exit at route 35 (South) toward Boykin, 26177 Meherrin Road, approximately 3 miles on the left, there will be signs and parking will be marked.

From Richmond Take route 35 (South), cross over route 58 toward Boykin, 26177 Meherrin road, approximately 3 miles on the left, there will be signs and parking will be marked.

From Emporia West Take route 58 East to Boykin Exit on route 35 and turn right (South), 26177 Meherrin Road, approximately 3 miles on the left, there will be signs and Parking will be marked.
